The best way to discover The Tikvah Center is to visit The Gordon School’s spacious campus, meet our faculty and learn what makes our community so special!  The Tikvah Center is a specialized educational program within Gordon Day School serving children on the autism-spectrum in Kindergarten through 5th grade. The word Tikvah means hope in Hebrew.

Our goal is to help children reach their maximum potential. Students are challenged academically in a nurturing environment that meets their individual needs in a small class setting with opportunities for inclusion, both in the classroom and in social settings.

We accept the McKay Scholarship. Parents interested in enrolling their children in The Tikvah Center should contact The Gordon School to schedule an introductory meeting and tour our campus. At the conclusion of the visit, we will provide prospective parents with an application for their children, if appropriate.

The Tikvah Center application process is highly individualized. Applicants will undergo a screening and assessment with the Head of School and program director.

To schedule a tour of the Tikvah Center, please contact Bridget Grant, Director of the Tikvah Center at 305-854-3282 or email bgrant@gordonschoolmiami.org.  An application will be provided to you during the tour.
