Passover is right around the corner! It’s an exciting time of the year. Students are looking forward to the week break from school.
I’ve overheard a lot of students mentioning that they can’t wait to play video games all day. There is nothing wrong with playing some video games to unwind and have some fun, but it is a problem if you’re doing that all day long over spring break.
I want to encourage every student to go outside and play for at least 30 minutes a day. If you can play for longer than 30 minutes, that will be even better for your body. But 30 MINUTES MINIMUM! Whether it’s taking a dip in a pool to swim or going outside to have a catch with a friend or family member, being physically active is very important to health and well-being. Plus, students will have a lot of time to learn a new skill that they can come back to school after the break and show me. I’m looking forward to hearing about how everyone stayed active over the break! Remember to have fun and wear sunscreen!
