Are there any teachers or staff at the Gordon School that made a difference in your life?

Ms. Becky, my art teacher, really stood out to me because she made class so creative and fun. Advice I would give to a student currently at the Gordon School would be to enjoy your time at Gordon and take part in all the activities. Participate in things like Tefilah and take in the Jewish traditions and holidays because it’s something unique about the school. Have fun with your friends, get involved, and make the most of your time there.

How did attending the Gordon School set a foundation for your future success?

The Gordon School helped me build a strong connection to Jewish culture and community. Learning Hebrew, celebrating holidays, and being part of Tefilah gave me experiences I still value today. It also encouraged me to be more involved and take on leadership roles, which has helped me as I’ve gotten older.

What is your reaction to the news of expanding to the new building? What do you hope this means for the future of the Gordon School?

I’m really happy to hear about the new building. The school was always a close community, so I think this will give more students the chance to experience that.

I hope the expansion helps the Gordon School continue to grow and stay strong for years to come.
