What years did you attend/work at The Gordon School?

Kindergarten-5th grade, Graduated in 2011

Why do you come back here?

At first because I got back in touch with Zev and Rabbi Julie Jacobs. Being here I realized how beautiful of a community it is. I did not know what to expect when I came back, but its really sweet being back here.

What have you been up to these days?

I just graduated from Boston University, the school of Theater. I am working as an actress in Miami. I will be in the musical Matilda up in Aventura, I will be playing Ms. Honey. At Gordon, I was in the musical Annie, and I only had one line. I was so nervous during it that the one line didn’t even come out of my mouth!

Are there any teachers or staff at The Gordon School that made a difference in your life?

I was introduced to Music and Art with Rabbi Jacobs and Ms. Baum. My love for art grew from here.

As a Gordon School Alumni, what advice would you give students?

I used to think I was not part of the community because people knew each other prior from Pre-K. Since I started in Kindergarten, I was new. My advice would be to let new kids know that they should leave feelings of isolation behind because the Gordon School is really a big community that everyone is a part of. It's hard as a child to understand that but coming back now I realize how important it is.

Pizza-we use to have Papa Johns pizza once a week-it was my favorite day...and we had popsicles!
