Happy Generations Day AND Rosh Chodesh Adar I (the beginning of the Hebrew month of Adar I)! As the saying goes, "Mishenichnas Adar marbin b'simcha" בשמחה מרבין אדר משנכנס – with the arrival of the month of Adar, our joy multiplies. This year is particularly special because 5784 is a leap year, which adds an entire month to the Jewish calendar, blessing us with an extra month of Adar and a prolonged season of happiness. It is perfect that Generations Day is at the beginning of the month(s) long celebration of joy, tradition, and connection to one another. We are so grateful to get to celebrate the timeless value of "l'dor va dor" דורו דורל – passing joy and traditions from generation to generation and we cannot wait to sing, eat, and explore the Gordon School with all of our special friends. May this day, this month, and this year be filled with abundant joy, laughter, and meaningful connections as we embrace the extra dose of Adar's happiness!
